Wise Integration of Technology
The two technological frameworks that I chose to look into for a further understanding of wise integration of technology were the RAT framework and the Triple E framework. The RAT framework stands for Replacement, Amplification, and Transformation. The Replacement step refers to replacing a form of instruction that is not currently using technology. Amplification refers to the idea that if a form of technology is being used, then the technology must amplify the learning ability for students. Lastly, Transformation refers to the idea that the technology being used is able to accomplish something that an instruction without the technology couldn't. The RAT framework emphasizes the idea that using technology effectively in a lesson plan implies that the technology is being progressive in the learning experience in reference to what the technology is replacing and that it allows more freedoms during a lesson plan than the previously used lesson plan.
